Revonlahti Village House

Situated close to national road 8, some 50 km southwest of the city of Oulu, the 200-year-old vicarage in Revonlahti these days provides a charming setting for visiting groups, all year round. The beautiful vicarage and grounds can be booked for smaller and larger groups for a meal or just a shorter coffee break. For any event, we tailor a menu with traditional Finnish cuisine and local specialities.

The former vicarage has experienced both war and peace. Rich in cultural history, the environment is the perfect setting for a pleasant visit. The vicarage, the grounds and the outbuildings were listed in 1993 as an important site in Northern Ostrobothnia on the basis of historical and architectural significance.

There are several rooms in which to enjoy your food, such as the bishop’s chamber and the vicar’s office. We can seat groups of up to 70 people.
The Revonlahti Vicarage was built in 1822. Along the years, the building was expanded to better meet the requirements as the vicar’s residence and office.
We tailor our coffee and meal menus according to our customer’s wishes. We serve delicious, clean Finnish food using as many local ingredients as possible.
The historic buildings and grounds are a joy to visitors. Some of the outbuildings are from the 18th century and experienced the victorious Revonlahti Battle in the Finnish War in 1808.
Revonlahti is located in a beautiful setting in Northern Ostrobothnia at a crossing of national road 8 and the Siikajoki river. The old vicarage of Revonlahti is located right next to national road 8.
